A learning system, not a notebook

Grow knowledge.
Reinforce it.
Make it last.

Studytracker is a system that grows, reinforces and strengthens what you learn. Collect materials, turn them into questions and flashcards, defend what you know and see exactly where it still cracks.

The idea

One loop. Three verbs.

Notes alone fade. Studytracker keeps knowledge moving through a loop that grows it, reinforces it and makes it stronger every time you come back.

01

Grow

Give everything you learn a place to live: an article, a lecture, a set of new words. Your knowledge base starts here.

MaterialsNotesDictionaries
02

Reinforce

Turn it into questions and flashcards. Pulling an answer out of memory makes it stronger than reading it again.

03

Strengthen

Defend what you know, get an honest score and see which topics crack. Then go back and grow exactly those.

Weak spots from Strengthen become the next things you Grow. The loop never stops, and neither does your progress.

How it works

From the first note to knowledge that holds

Five steps, one material. Click through them, the demos are live.

Step 1 of 5

Everything starts with a material

An article, a video, a practice task or a test. Give it a status and tags, then attach notes, questions and a dictionary to it.

Dictionaries & flashcards

Words that stick.

Every material can have its own dictionary: words with translation, transcription, part of speech, examples and synonyms. Flashcards bring them back right before you would forget them.

  • Don't know comes back in a minute
  • Not sure comes back again soon
  • Know waits longer every time you get it right

Reviews are scheduled by FSRS, a modern spaced repetition algorithm that learns how fast you forget. Your time goes to the words you actually struggle with.
